James Lee, CFA | Co-CEO

  • 25 years of energy finance experience focused on capital formation and M&A advisory, including 17 years in natural resources investment banking, most recently as a Managing Director at Stifel

  • Co-founded Purified Resource Partners in 2021 

  • EVP Finance and Corporate Development, and founding member of private equity-backed Three Peaks Resources

  • BA Brown University, MBA George Washington University, CFA Charterholder. Previously held FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses

Kaleb Dasinger | Co-CEO

  • Second-generation landman based in Sidney, MT, with over 20 years of experience in oil and gas leasing and asset acquisition

  • Co-founded Purified Resource Partners in 2021 

  • Founder of multiple companies focused on minerals and non-operated working interests in the Williston Basin, including Three Peaks Resources as VP Land and Business Development 

  • BA MSU Billings. Member of the MT and ND Landman Associations and AAPL

Joel Brown | VP Engineering

  • Reservoir engineer for First International Bank and Trust and established its reserve-based lending program

  • Creator of a proprietary minerals management software system 

  • Reservoir engineer for MBI Oil and Gas and Formation Energy 

  • Active in the North Dakota community: McKenzie County Commissioner, ND State-appointed minerals valuation appraiser, inaugural member of the ND Clean Sustainable Energy Authority

  • BS Petroleum Engineering, University of North Dakota

Craig von Peters | Director of Business Development

  • Over 30 years experience in alternative investments and institutional portfolio management

  • Led business development at Affinity Investment Advisors, an Outsourced CIO practice serving RIAs, a fixed income fund launched by a former PIMCO team, an Oil and Gas fund, and Keystone National Group

  • Started career at Lehman Brothers and served as Managing Director for Maria Fiorini Ramirez 

  • Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
